This unique fundraiser is hosted by Thalian Association Community Theatre to benefit the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center. \nHere’s how it works:\nThalian Association will provide a FREE tabletop Christmas tree to anyone who wants to participate. They can be decorated in the theme of your choice; you can promote a business or just be creative\, perhaps enjoy a spirited competition between friends and neighbors! Once decorated\, participants drop their trees at the Community Arts Center where they will be on display in preparation for an online auction that is open to the public.

DESCRIPTION:Art in Bloom Gallery is excited to pair the creations of painter Debra Bucci and ceramicist Brian Evans in their elementally inspired exhibit. After surviving an action-packed year\, Debra’s newest acrylics uncover the “calm” in nature\, featuring rippling waters\, radiant light\, and abstract textures. Meanwhile\, Brian’s altered vessels emerge from nature’s fundamental building blocks. Formed from soft\, wheel thrown clay\, Brian’s glazes emulate the water erosion\, oxidation\, and scorched surfaces of nature. \nJoin us in the gallery on Sunday\, September 21st\, 2-5pm for our Artist Reception. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, October 11\, for a screening by The Abortion Clinic Film Collective\, a group of feminist filmmakers with diverse backgrounds and distinctive styles who came together from around the country in the wake of the overturning of Roe v Wade. In the ACFC series\, we hear from medical directors and staff\, mothers and daughters\, criminal defense attorneys and advocates\, about how their personal and professional lives have been affected post-Dobbs. Each portal provides a window into the broad and life-threatening ramifications of that Supreme Court decision and its devastating legacy for the health and well-being of our country and people. \nThe screening will be followed by a Q&A with filmmakers Cali M. Banks\, Lori Felker\, KellyGallagher\, Kristy Guevara-Flanagan\, Đoan Hoàng\, Luiza Parvu\, Raymond Rea\, Lynne Sachs\, and Sasha Waters.
