SUMMARY:A Closer Look: America 250 & Historic Foodways Art Exhibition by Ricardo Perez
DESCRIPTION:Bellamy Mansion Museum is hosting an art exhibition\, “A Closer Look: America 			250 & Historic Foodways” by local artist Ricardo Perez. This exhibit combines 			striking portraits that commemorate our 250 years as a nation with evocative still life paintings that share stories of America’s rich culinary heritage.  \nVisitors can view the exhibit free of charge any time the museum is open (Mon-Sun\, 10 am-4 pm). The gallery space is on the second floor of the main house. Please stop by the Carriage House Visitor Center to gain admission. An artist’s reception will be held on Friday\, August 28th from 6-8 PM.

DESCRIPTION:WILMINGTON\, N.C. — Pottery\, live music\, and fall fun return to Trask Family Farms on Saturday\, October 3\, 2026\, as Fat Cat Pottery presents Pot Fest 2026\, a free\, family-friendly celebration of pottery\, art\, music\, and community. \nSet against the picturesque backdrop of Trask Family Farms\, Pot Fest brings together local and regional potters\, including artists from Fat Cat Pottery’s Wilmington and Ocean Isle Beach studios\, for a day filled with creativity and community. Visitors can shop handmade pottery\, meet the artists behind the work\, learn more about the pottery-making process\, take part in hands-on clay activities\, and cheer on participants in the festival’s Great Pottery Throwdown competition. \nThis year’s musical lineup features Sail Away Ladies\, bringing live bluegrass music to the farm beginning at 1 p.m. \nThere’s plenty to enjoy beyond the pottery\, too.
