DESCRIPTION:Working Films\, DAWG\, and Cucalorus Film Foundation invite you to join us for the Works-in-Progress Showcase\, featuring a WiP alumni film screening of Hazing. This documentary explores a variety of underground hazing rituals that are abusive and sometimes deadly. The journey to understand hazing culture reveals a world of toxic masculinity\, violence\, humiliation\, binge drinking\, denial\, and institutional coverups. \nThere will be a post screening conversation with WiP alumni\, mentors\, and filmmakers\, Byron Hurt and Natalie Bullock Brown. Come early for our pre-screening social hour where attendees can meet the filmmakers\, grab a tasty beverage from the Jengo’s bar\, and enjoy some tasty local cuisine.
