And the music plays on…a recital dedicated to musical pearls by Jewish composers of the 20th century

Hannie Ricardo, mezzo-soprano. and Barry David Salwen, piano, perform music of composers who perished in the Holocaust. The recital includes famous songs such as “Somebody Loves Me” by Gershwin and songs almost lost and forgotten – from nostalgic Yiddish “Mame Loshn” (songs of the Mother Tongue) to classic songs in Hebrew such as “Jerusalem of Gold.”
Beckwith Recital Hall is located in UNCW’s Cultural Arts Building and is the perfect place to enjoy live music
Free parking is conveniently located in front of the Cultural Arts Building and across the street.
Please note that wearing masks or face coverings is required in the UNCW Cultural Arts Building.
