Mission: Turning the Wheel Productions is a national nonprofit arts and education organization dedicated to making body based creative expression and play accessible to individuals of all ages, experiences, genders, and cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
We are committed to being a contributing force in fostering vibrant, healthy communities nationwide.
TYPES OF PROGRAMS:
TTW Caravans – Weeklong residency focusing on underserved youth (up to 5 populations) culminating in public performance that is created and performed by participants. Activities include authentic and improvisational movement exercises, visual arts projects, poetry, photography, body rhythms, and songs.
Creative Play Pop-Ups – A time to come together with family and friends to explore authentic and improvisational movement, play games, sing songs, poetry, and do body rhythms.
6-8 Week Residencies – Weekly in school/after school programming focusing on underserved youth culminating in public performance that is created and performed by participants. Activities include authentic and improvisational movement exercises, visual arts projects, poetry, photography, body rhythms, and songs.
The Body Now – An improvisational movement-based journey to our essence that is an ongoing process of evolving with ease and love.
Specialty Workshops – facilitator trainings, team building workshops, continuing education, and orientation seminars.
